Steel and Metal Warranty

• 14-gauge steel frames and 29-gauge sheet metal: 10-year limited rust through warranty
• 12-gauge steel framing and 26-gauge sheet metal: 20-year limited rust through warranty

Maintenance Requirements

• Normal care using mild soap and water required
• Harsh chemicals will void warranty
• Standing water due to unlevel or low-lying ground installations voids warranty

Environmental Exclusions

This Limited Warranty does not apply in cases of:

• Coastline salt conditions
• Chemical agents, fumes, liquids, or solids (except direct rain)
• Contact with soils, fire, ashes, fertilizers, or moisture-retaining substances
• Failure to remove debris or provide free drainage
• Internal condensation on product surfaces
• Deterioration caused by contact with green/wet timber or treated woods
• Unusually corrosive environments
• Storms or acts of God

Building Certification Notice

• Non-certified buildings are not wind rated
• Certified buildings with wind ratings are not warranties
• NMB is not responsible for damages from wind, storms, or acts of God

Additional Warranty Terms

• Workmanship: 120-day warranty against defects
• Windows, entry doors, and roll-up doors: 120-day warranty against workmanship defects
• Components: 1-year warranty against defects (excludes maintenance, normal wear, damage beyond manufacturer’s control, and replacement labor)

Warranty Voidance

Any abuse or alteration, including but not limited to:

• Interior modifications
• Exterior modifications
• Addition of electric or plumbing
